A Sustainable Development in Austin

Austin is a pretty hip place, if you ask us — and here's something that makes it even hipper. Just a few miles from downtown, there's a new development going up. A team of architectural firms is responsible for making each über-modern home a little bit different, so no two are exactly the same. But more importantly, they're in charge of making sure each home receives an LEED score of 3 or higher...

Tankless water heaters, sustainable flooring, energy-efficient appliances, green rooftops, you name it. These homes are built to offer residents the cutting edge of environmentally-sound design. Take a look at the eye candy on this page, but for more pics and information about buying, check out the Nine Sixty Nine site here.

looks like it is the agave dev (plus more). Not far from downtown but there isn't a lot out there. These houses are pretty expensive for where they are too.
