Misprint Garden Signs from Viva Terra

10-2-2009object_utils.display_object.jpgGood thing Mom doesn't check in on the things I write here too much, cause I think I just found her Christmas present. Seriously, she'll love this. And it'll look great hanging on the side of her house, over her garden.

The letters are made from misprinted soda, juice, and soup can metal that was otherwise headed for the landfill. The Misprint Garden Messages (on sale for $34-$9) aren't exactly our style, but I know Mom will love the bright colors, and the sweetness of the message (this is a woman who talks to her veggies in the garden).

I find it inspiring as a DIY.

It's too bad they don't simply offer te alphabet - you could spell whatever you wanted.

Check out atwestend.com for some other really cool recycled ideas. I often compare it to Viva Terra. Great stuff.
