apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

We're trying to become more attuned to our surroundings.That's not an easy task in the day and age of 24-7 digital distraction. In particular, we're trying to see more green around us, and while one might think the streets of Berkeley would be the perfect setting for this effort, you might be surprised.
There is green to be found in these hills, however subtle, like the permeable paving we spotted along the way today, with ground cover growing through… but still tamed by the regular path of car tires.
