Fandi Meng: Sunny Flower

We're always on the go, and always on our cell phones. Our cell phone batteries always seem to be dying and when you're at the park or walking around the city, well, there isn't much you can do about it...

Product designer Fandi Meng has designed a portable solar charging device. To charge your phone, you spread the petals apart and attach it to a piece of glass, or a surface that the device can take heat from. Once the sunny flower is charged a light will flash and you can close the petals and plug it in to the device needing a charge.

We love that the sunny flower is so small and easy to carry around. The product design is also sleek and streamlined so it would make a great addition to a desk. We especially like the idea of attaching it to the side of the desk.
