We've seen quite a bit of recycled cardboard furniture (and pet furniture) recently. But this is the first time we've ever seen a cardboard computer.
We definitely like the looks, but is it practical?

The Recycled Cardboard Computer Case by Francesco Biasci was an entry in this year's Greener Gadget Competition -- it's meant to provide an alternative to metal computer cases and reduce e-waste.
A cardboard computer case would be easily recyclable and customizable. Rather than tossing the case after the computer becomes obsolete, you could simpy recycle this at the curb. But would it hold up for the life of the computer? Our tower doesn't suffer from too much wear and tear, so we're optimistic.
