We attended a wedding over the weekend here (which we'll post about later this week). At the reception, each table had a terrarium as the centerpiece which added color and texture. We loved the idea and found Kat's spin on a terrarium using light fixtures as containers...

We don't cook that often but when we do, we always make sure to save glass jars for repurposing. They're sturdier than plastic bags for toting items and look great in a group displaying flowers or candles. Our favorite ways to repurpose empty glass jars after the jump!

We keep a small supply of plastic bags on hand for kitty litter detail when our compostable bags run out. We try not to use plastic bags for anything else but we're really liking Helle's idea for reusing them to make yarn...

There's something to be said about having a place to hang your belongings at the end of the day. For us, a picked up and tidy apartment before bedtime always helps ensure smooth sailing for the upcoming week. And what's better than having a specific spot for your stuff? Repurposed hooks, of course!

Top Design is getting good. We think it has something to do with the fact that there's less designers which means more time for an individual to show us what they're all about. We caught up last night with our infamous team of judges and contestants in the sixth episode of Top Design. The designers challenge was to re-design the new offices of The Cadmus Group, a eco-friendly consulting firm. The other challenge was to incorporate repurposed materials in their design...
