We recently assisted on a photo shoot that had a yummy catered lunch. The fish was wild, the greens organic, the chocolate dipped strawberries, delicious. But the real treat came when we tossed our paper plate.

Can bottled water be green?

Record bowls have spun us around and around on the blog circuits, and we've seen mix tape walls and cassette closets, but change purses have left us counting our pennies to save up for one of our very own. What will the craft kids think of next?

A school with its own farm, a bicycling program, solar power, and an organic chocolate factory? Attendance must be through the (sustainable, bamboo) roof.

Ever walk into a bathroom where you're confronted with these two choices?

I reach for the automatic hand dryer, but then I wind up having second thoughts. Is it really more green than using (possibly recycled) paper towels? Which do you use?

Plastic utensils as wall covering, discarded light bulbs as a chandelier, and scrap fabric-covered shelves are just a few of the green ideas we spotted that might be worth trying...
