ReVerb: Speaker Powered by Light

We're looking for good quality speakers to incorporate into our home; one of us doesn't care about aesthetics &mdash only quality of sound. The other one cares much more about aesthetics than sound quality (guess which one that is!) Finally &mdash a solution from a familiar source; Regen.

iPhone Recession Case

Times are tough; we know that all too well. Even though this is a very serious time in our economy and lives, why not take a minute to laugh at the whole thing? Products like these are those great reminders that everyone will get through this and let's just relax for a minute...

We've seen quite a bit of AphroChic on Apartment Therapy; we were lucky enough to take an amazing glimpse inside her home. So it's really no surprise that she is now proud to introduce her new eco-friendly Dreamland Pillow Collection...

Fandi Meng: Sunny Flower

We're always on the go, and always on our cell phones. Our cell phone batteries always seem to be dying and when you're at the park or walking around the city, well, there isn't much you can do about it...

Toy Designer: Ben Blanc

We're always really excited about new and innovative toy designs.. I mean, who isn't? Especially when they're made out of recycled materials - that usually helps us justify buying yet another toy!

Paperless Invites: Paperless Post

I think I've found where I'm going to have my next set of invitations made- and it's not a bricks and mortar store. It's an online retailer called Paperlesspost.com, and they specialize in online invitations that look like you should be receiving them via Postal Service and not E-mail...

Daniel Michalik: Puts A Cork In It

Daniel Michalik is an Industrial Design Professor at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He certainly practices what he preaches — as you can see from these amazing furniture designs. DesigninMotion-5-13-Kristen.jpg

The Mural Arts Program of Philadelphia unveiled 10 recycling trucks decorated with bright, bold graphics inspired by the historic textiles collection of The Design Center at Philadelphia University. This project coincided with the introduction of Philadelphia's new single-stream recycling program, in which all recyclable materials can all go into the same receptacle. The trucks were unveiled by Philadelphia Mayor Nutter on a very appropriate day — Earth Day!

A Chester County Farmhouse
Philadelphia Home Magazine

Check out his amazing home we found in the archives of Philidelphia Magazine:
Dave Thal and Hope Nichols were in for such a wonderful surprise when they purchased their 18th Century farm house in Chester County a few years ago. It wasn't the house that they necessarily fell in love with (yet, anyway) — it was their surroundings and environment that initially triggered there curiosity for what this house could be.

tour2009.jpgChris may wear a size 11 shoe, but you wouldnʼt be able to tell by the size of his carbon footprint. Chrisʼ Green Home was originally an industrial Ice Cream Factory and Freezer. Chris purchased the freezer and converted it into a work/living space, which he built with his own two hands. We got a preview of his kitchen last week and now for the rest of the space — his bedroom is on wheels, he sleeps above his computer, he makes his own compost, and even grows his own food. Thereʼs nothing this handy green man canʼt do!
