Do you ever daydream about direct afternoon sunlight pouring through your living room windows, but your home faces the wrong direction for such a fantasy to ever come true? If only you were lucky enough to live in a rotating home.

It seems that there is an inspiring cafe in Starksville, Mississippi called Little Building Cafe. The folks behind this dreamy cafe employed a fun repurposing technique, as just one element in creating their cozy, welcoming environment.

Thankfully, it's starting to get easier to find places that recycle old computers, cell phones, and other small electronics. Unfortunately, most recyclers still send the waste overseas to be recycled AND it's difficult to find a one-stop source for harder to recycle objects like old VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and CDs.

The Pew Research Center recently released findings about people's change in belief between 2006 and 2009 about which household objects they really NEED. For example, in 2006 68% of respondents said they needed a microwave, compared with only 47% in 2009. More results after the jump...
