Are you an "outside of the box" kind of thinker? Like way, way, way outside of the box? If your answer is yes, then you should definitely take a look at the cover story in this month's issue of Common Ground magazine.
The story is all about a San Francisco organization called Urban Re:Vision. We're ashamed to admit that we'd never heard of them before, because what they're doing is really amazing, forward thinking, and inspirational.
Essentially, they're holding a series of competitions for visionary thinkers -- and the biggest, the real show-stopper, will take place this this year.
The competition is called Re:Vision, and participants will be asked to come up with a plan to completely transform a rundown city block into a sustainable system. The winning concept will actually be implemented in some lucky city.
