Considering the fact that it's been in the 80s for the past week or so here in the Bay Area, it's hard for us to believe that people are actually talking about "harvest parties."
Harvest? As in fall?

Yes, apparently fall is on its way.
In preparation for the impending season, event designer David Stark went hunting for materials -- reused and recycled materials -- to create three harvest party centerpieces. Here's what he found.
As much as we loathe the fact that some people seem to think summer is over, we do really really like Stark's quirky use of natural and repurposed materials. When fall truly arrives, we'll revisit this as we plan our dinner parties.
