In Praise of Homemade Cleaners

2-6-2009cleaners.jpgAs much as we love some of our green cleaning brands -- like Seventh Generation and Method -- we know, in our heart of hearts, that it's even greener (and cheaper) to make your own cleaners from vinegar, baking soda, castile soap, and water.

If skepticism is holding you back from mixing up your own cleaners, check out this video (after the jump) from the LA Times. You might be inspired to finally ditch the neon colored stuff for a gloopy, but perfectly effective, mixture of castile soap, water, and vinegar.
