Just thought we'd take a moment and say Happy Birthday to Natural Home magazine, one of our favorite places to go for green inspiration. They're celebrating their 10th anniversary by reminiscing about the top 10 favorite homes the magazine has covered in their first decade...
The picture above the jump is from the magazine's premier issue -- it's an unbelievably inspiring strawbale home in New Mexico.
The rest of the picks include a "Hobbit House" in Texas, an updated farmhouse in Maine, and a handbuilt cabin in Alabama ... What we've always loved about Natural Home — and what we see reflected in this list — is that, no matter what the current fads are in green design, they continue to focus on good, green design. The homes don't have to be modern boxes or rammed earth caves ... they just have to be smart and beautiful.
