12-17-2008poster.jpgReadyMade magazine asked 5 artists to create posters inspired by the populist poster art of the Great Depression. This is what they came up with.

All 5 posters are free and downloadable.

Our favorites are Nick Dewar's "Simplicity is the Key to Successful Living" and Christopher Silas Neal's "Eat Local, Buy Local, Grow Local."

We think, with a nice vintage frame, these would make great holiday presents.
