Redesign Alert!
Have you seen Dwell's shiny new website yet? If you haven't, you should cruise right on over to dwell.com right now (well ... after you see what we've got going on here). Their new design is easy to navigate. We're loving the "homes" tab (we could spend all day clicking around in there). That's where we found Blake Dollahite's very cool salvaged house.
After graduating from art school, Dollahite bought a bungalow that was falling down around him. But, with some help from his dad and a lot of really smart ideas about using salvaged materials, he ended up with a gorgeous home.
Then, he went about building his own furniture ... Consider us impressed.
