They started coordinating the collection of new and gently used art materials to give to art teachers and students in need. Unfortunately art supplies are often lost in junk drawers or end up in the dumpster. But teachers are on tight budgets, and creative departments are getting slashed left and right, so expensive art supplies can be really hard to come by first hand. Thankfully, companies like Creative Pitch are around to collect supplies from design companies and individuals to be distributed to students and teachers.

What supplies are needed:

• Working markers (even incomplete sets)


• Pens, pencils


• Large matte board scraps


• Presentation boards


• Foam core


• Tubes


• Rulers and straight edges


• Paper and stock samples (full sheets, only)


• Brushes


• Paint


• Adhesives


• Frames


• Clip art


• Photography art and stock books


• Folders


• Scissors


• Miscellaneous items (fabric, buttons, carpet squares and remnants, small jars, beads, collage and sculpture materials.

According to the website, no computer equipment or software will be collected at this time. Creative Pitch requests that materials be organized neatly in bags or boxes to enable efficient and safe drop off.
