If you are looking for a way to sneak more artful objects into your everyday life, check out these handsome Moleskine book covers by Engrave Your Book. Their artist series provides a vast array of creative designs, but you can also customize your own unique cover. The best part? They just get better with age...

Portland, OR based Engrave Your Book use natural methods to create these beautifully designed book covers. They'll fit your handy Moleskine notebook like a glove and turn a few heads as you jot down your deepest thoughts.

The covers shown above are designed by: Amy Ruppel, Deke Smith, Dan Funderburgh, Ryan Bubnis, and Michael Hsiung

I like a lot of the designs that are available in the artist series, and there are MANY to choose from. If you are so inclined, you are encouraged to submit your work for a chance at becoming one of their featured artists. I was also really impressed with the custom orders that they feature on their site. Apparently everything looks good engraved in leather!

Yikes - may want to be more careful. They're "Moleskine" notebooks, not "moleskin". Because at first I was horrified to see a post about moleskin (i.e. the skin of moles) followed by an article about not eating meat....

(okay, so moleskin is technically made from cotton now, but still) :)

island_monkey, you're right! I definitely knew that, too. Thanks for the good eye.
