Home Energy Yardstick from Energy Star

Yes, we know. Another environmental footprint calculator? Unlike more general calculators, this one is tailored to your home and uses the information from your bills to recommend ways to save energy and money. It's the closest thing to a free "home dashboard" we've found, allowing you to track how much energy you waste annually...

To calculate your stats, you'll need to know the square footage of your home and the approximate year it was built. You'll also need 12 months of energy bills: electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, propane, or kerosene. To create your home energy yardstick, click here.

This looks great, except that it doesn't allow for houses (or, I suppose, apartments) that are smaller than 800 square feet! When I entered my house's square footage (720), I got an error message saying that's not a typical square footage for a single family home!
