Los Angeles Composting/ Recycling Workshop

John Lyons, a passionate green gardener who runs The Woven Garden, will be hosting a workshop about the magic of composting and recycling in the garden at ecologically-friendly retailer, All Shades of Green this month. Topics will include:

 
 
  • Composting - Various methods --passive/active/sheet/in ground
  • Vermicomposting -Setting up an outdoor year round wormbin/harvesting/using castings
  • Creating great soil - Using compost/worm castings/homemade liquid amendments/emulsions/cover crops/mulching/leaf mold/seaweed/soil microbiology overview
