New Book: Tiny Houses

tinyhousesbook.jpg

We received a book store gift certificate for Christmas so we're in the market for an inspiring design book. We just spotted this one in the current issue of Metropolitan Home. Tiny Houses by Mimi Zeiger focuses on sustainable modular and pre-fab homes under 1000 square feet. The book won't be released until March 24, 2009 so we haven't looked inside yet. Has anyone had an insider's peek at this book? If you could buy one design book with our gift certificate what would it be?...

Some might argue that 1000 square feet hardly qualifies as tiny. A couple years ago AT posted about a book called Tiny, Tiny Houses that profiles homes under 325 square feet.

For a more detailed summary of Tiny Houses, published by Rizzoli, click here and you can preorder the book here.

While we're intrigued by this book, we tend to be drawn to books that focus more on accessible and eclectic interior design than architectural structure. With that in mind, we'd love your recommendation for your favorite design inspiration book.
