OK. Judging by the response to last week's survey, it looks like we definitely have enough interest to keep the re-nest book club alive.
So, now the question is: What will be our second book? Because Animal, Vegetable, Miracle was a local food centered book, we thought it would be a good idea to go for something non-foodie this time around.
Cadillac Desert by Marc Reisner was a serious contender last time, so we'll start by throwing that one out there.
What would you like to read?

I cheated and searched for book review on Treehugger but these are the ones I found that I'd like to suggest:
Garbage Land (I have been meaning to read this for a while!):

The Clean Tech Revolution:

Radical Simplicity:

I would also read the book suggested about water resources.

I'd read Cadillac Desert if it ended up being chosen, but it wouldn't be my first choice - that would be Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future by Bill McKibben

A great book I'd suggest is "A Short History of Progress". It's short-ish and an awesome read. (by Ronald Wright) Even if you don't pick it for your book club, it's worth reading. It's not tips on being green but kind of about what our lifestyle is doing to the planet. Google for more info.

I would like to read Cadillac Desert. I have owned it for years and need a kick in the butt to crack it open.
