Re-nest Book Club: Update

2-19-2008DeepEconomy122006.gif

And, by a nose, it looks like our second Re-nest Book Club book choice will be Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future by Bill McKibben. We think it sounds like a great read.

However, due to some interesting timing (the paperback version of the book will be released on March 8, 2008) we think we will wait until late March before we start this one.

Once the paperback version is readily available, we'll plan on gearing up.

In an earlier survey, some of you noted that you'd be interested in participating in the book club "depending on the book." Now that you know it's Deep Economy, please take a look at its Amazon page, and let us know in the comments if you'll be participating this time around.

Thanks!

btw...random green note that i think fits in with small/green apt. living...i buy my books gently used on half.com or amazon.com, and I'll be buying this one in hard cover since i'll add it to my library. And if i don't love a book, I'll re-sell it on one of those same sites. I keep a very select few books for frequent reference, and otherwise rely on my trusty library card! I know this isn't for everyone, but just how I approach book accumulation.

I am reading it now - jumped on a library hardcover copy. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes in the paperback!
