A Sweet Green Kitchen Remodel

cmremodel-after2.jpgThere's nothing more disheartening than looking at an over-the-top green remodel. All we can ever think about is how we'll never be able to afford anything like it .... ever. So a tasteful, small-scale green remodel is always refreshing to see. Like this kitchen...

We just stumbled across this kitchen remodel over at Green Your Decor.

And we're not saying this remodel didn't cost quite a bit of money (we're sure that it did), we're just saying that it looks like something regular people could do. The result looks like a kitchen we'd love to have in our home.

It's not too big, beautiful green materials were used, and it's full of energy-efficient appliances.

See all the pictures, including "before" shots, and get more info on the materials used here.

The Green Your Decor page has info on the backsplash. It is cool, isn't it?

Funny. I was just scrolling through Re-nest and there's my kitchen!

Thanks for all the lovely compliments. The backsplash is my favorite part of the kitchen. I worked with Stardust Glass on the color scheme.

And I'm glad it was mentioned in the post that the remodel looks like something regular folks can do 'cause that's who we are. I just did a lot of research and tried to stick to our budget as much as possible.
