Pozzotive Plus: Bricks Made From Recycled Glass

11_17_09_pozzitive.JPGWe thought bricks were pretty green to begin with thanks to their durability, but here's an even greener (and just as durable) option: Pozzotive Plus bricks are made from a mixture of recycled glass ground into a microfiber and recycled masonry aggregate, making them (you'll really like this part) LEED-friendly.

Want to quantify the green factor that these bricks offer? For every ton of cement that's not used, one ton of carbon dioxide is kept from the environment. Not bad, eh? The bricks are available in many sizes and colors, and are appropriate for interior or exterior use.

For more information, visit Kingston Block's site, or find them on the list of the Top 10 Green Building products of the year at Building Green.

I like these… but i wonder if they are durable. Anyone else use these for anything?
