Ruda System: 13 Parts, 30 Pieces of Furniture

Sometimes, less is more... quite literally. Rodrigo Valdivielso's Ruda System has 13 individual parts that can be configured into ~30 different configurations. That's at least 30 different pieces of furniture. No metal parts of fittings mean you can let your imagination run wild. It's simple, functional, and completely recyclable. Kind of reminds us of those building block puzzles we used to have as a kid...

The Ruda System was developed in conjunction with the Easy Home Center (South America's equivalent to our Home Depot), but it never actually made it into serial production.
