We don't use chlorine bleach -- both because we're allergic to it, and because we really try not to use toxic cleaning products. And we've never found non-chlorine bleach terribly effective. So we've been trying to figure out what to do about our white blankets that have dog footprints on them. Alex from Hygge House heartily recommends Biokleen's Bac-Out Stain & Odor Eliminator. She says, "This biodegradable product gets rid of any stain in clothes and carpets. I've used it on everything with success - even on delicates."
Made of natural enzyme-producing cultures, food-grade lime extracts and stabilizers, vegetable-based surfactants, and filtered water, Bac-Out doesn't have fumes, it's environmentally friendly, and it biodegrades rapidly. It's supposedly good for mold and mildew, pet, food, and beverage stains and odors (on laundry and carpet), tubs & tile, clogged drains, and garbage disposals.

I use their all-purpose cleaner and dish soap. Both work great and I prefer the smell to any other cleaners I've used.

I use this stuff all the time. Smells great and lime-y and really does work great. Even gets cat pee out!

I love Biokleen's products. Their powdered laundry soap (their "premium plus" will clean anything!) and their powdered dishwasher soap are great. Oh, and their Soy Cream cleaner is my go-to tub/shower scrubbing product. It smells wonderful and works really well.
(I write a green cleaning blog so I had to comment on this).
