Electrolux Ergospace Green ZEG300 Vacuum
...yet another tech not available here

120508electroluxZEG300-1.jpgWhen it comes to industrial design of common home appliances, Europe and Asia has the States beat hands down, especially when it comes to vacuums. While the US market seems flooded with vacs that look like they were created from an Autobots used parts bin, most European and Asian vacs are pretty minimal, if not a bit future-biomorphic. And now Swedish manufacturer has released an eco-friendly canister vac that eases power use but increases utility with an insanely long 13m reach that we could only hope makes its way here domestically...

120508electroluxZEG300-2.jpgWith an operating radius of 13 meters long (this is including the hose), the Electrolux Ergospace Green ZEG300 Vacuum is an extremely versatile vacuum that can reach from room to room without switching outlets. It's also equipped with a washable HEPA exhaust filter system matched with HEPA rated bags for reusable allergen busting protection. Oh, and that "green moniker" is in regards to the ZEG300's reduced power consumption (just 230 watts/hour vs 300+ for a normal canister unit) and the vac being manufactured from recycled materials. Just too bad it's not available here in the States...yet.
