Attention Chicagoans, this is the final weekend to stop by the temporary Method Pop-up Shop in Lincoln Park. Not only is it a Method Store, but they’ve also been hosting detox parties and workshops since September 15. They’ve got all kinds of great deals, including a ‘toxic turn-in’ program where you can bring in any household toxic cleaner, they will dispose of it properly, and you will receive a free Method product.
The temporary store features most items from the Method line - they were out of a number of things when we were there because of the event is coming to a close. Additionally, there were fun features such as aroma and ingredients workstations to test out the products, and a cleaning confessional photo booth to reveal your ‘dirty little cleaning secrets’.
We traded in a whole bag of old toxic cleaners that had been lingering in our apartment, and got the Detox Bundle (any five products for $25) – plus with our trade-in we got an additional 10% off, a free bottle of the Olive Leaf Hand Wash, and a free Plastic Bag Rehab tote.
The temporary shop is open daily 11am - 8pm through Sunday, October 12.
