We've been satisfied users of the Twist Euro Cloths since Janel blogged them last year. The sponge cloths have significantly cut down our paper towel usage, but we've still been using old-fashioned disposable scouring sponges for our dishes. At Whole Foods the other day, we picked up Twist's new biodegradable Naked Sponge, and we're hoping that these sponges - paired with a reusable scouring brush - will create less waste in our kitchen...

Geez - I paid a lot more for a pack at the coop, surprisingly. Anyhow, I like these sponges for the green-factor, and will continue to use them for this reason, but I find the "scour" side a little unflexible.

This is excellent. I've convinced my parents to switch over to many other safer (because sponges can harbor SO MANY bacteria) and environmentally friendly products, but I can't get my mother to stop using her blue plastic sponges. I'll have to pick up a couple of these and see what she thinks.
