As summer winds down, taking with it the breeze and heat that helps our clothes line dry, we look to alternate ways to dry our clothes inside, sans clothes dryer.

We've posted before on wall-mounted drying racks, but these are green from the start. Most of the wood used in Abundant Earth's drying racks are from rescued mill ends which would otherwise be chipped and burned, and all of the wood used is from sustainably harvested second growth forests.
They come in a variety of options include the great wall mounted unit, pictured above, up to the Mount Everest, with 56 ft. of "line space."

I really like this metal drying rack from JoyfulSpinCycle: http://www.joyfulspincycle.com/JSC%205018%20Butterfly%20Clothes%20Drying%20Rack.htm.
It is sturdy enough to hold a load of heavy towels or denim but also adjustable for when you need to dry delicate wool sweaters.
