It's No Impact Week: Are You Participating?

10-20-2009dutchbike.jpgWe realize we're a little late to this party, but we just realized that the inaugural No Impact Week (hosted by Huffington Post) started on Monday. The point of the week is to live like the original No Impact Man, Colin Beavan, and to see what it's like...

Here are the details on No Impact Week. It sounds like a fun experiment, and even if it did start on Monday, we don't see any reason why someone couldn't jump on the bandwagon today and give it a shot.

Each day of the No Impact Week experiment focuses on a different aspect of living sustainably. Today is all about eating locally grown, organic foods.

We're curious if anyone out there is trying the No Impact Week (we read somewhere that 4,000 people had signed up)? Or will anyone start today?

I've been participating in it all week long and have been blogging about my experiences at http://GranolaTendencies.blogspot.com

A fellow green blogger has also been writing about her experiences each day at http://EverySmallThing.blogspot.com

It's been an interesting week.
