Hot or Not? Unidentified Feeding Object (UFO) by Andrea Ruggiero

8-12-2009ufoplatereg2.jpgThe UFO by Andrea Ruggiero is a plate made from bird seed, potato starch, guar gum, and a "seaweed-like binding agent". They're meant to be tossed (like a frisbee) into the bushes when you're done with them, where they can be devoured by birds. Read more about 'em here, then vote!

It's still expensive and unnecessary trash that someone else will have to clean up the remnants of as it will not self-compost all that quickly.

Litter has a tendency to replicate at an extraordinary rate. Don't encourage this kind of behavior, much less pat someone on the back for it.

so some factory has to produce this and ship it.
I also highly doubt that it will hold up to the normal picnic or cook out if it claims that it breaks on impact. Plus wouldn't the seeds sprout if the birds don't eat them fast enough, i don't have time for more weeding.
