Preserve Kitchen

Toothbrushes. That's what we think of when we hear anyone mention the brand Preserve -- those 100% recycled plastic toothbrushes we used to see at Trader Joe's.

But Preserve carries other products -- recycled (disposable) plates and utensils, for one -- and, now, a line of kitchen products called Preserve Kitchen.

At first glance, we like the array of colors -- and, of course, we like the fact that the whole line is made from 100% recycled #5 plastic and 100% post-consumer recycled paper.

This is especially cool because #5 plastic can be tough to recycle, and it is also considered to be one of the safer (non-leaching) plastics.

Preserve Kitchen is available exclusively at Whole Foods. Have you purchased any of these items yet? We're curious to know what you think!

I've been using their recycline plateware for 2 years. It gets used for about 5 or 6 parties each year and runs through the dishwasher perfectly. I bought red, as it can be used for xmas, Chinese New Year, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, etc., so I only need one set!
