Tamar Mogendorff: Lovely Handmade Home Accessories

We don't know very much about this woman, but her creations are completely lovely and we just had to show them to you. Her dolls and home objects are made from linen, wool, Mohair wool, cotton, vintage fabrics, tweed, antique embroidery, and pashmina. She also uses a lot of antique and vintage buttons, beads, silver thread, and old ribbons. Perfect for Artwork, Crafts and Collections month!

Tamar is represented by Seedhouse in NYC, but you can email Tamar directly with questions about her products: tmogyle@gmail.com.

We don't know anything about prices yet, but if any of you do, let us know!

Yes, I do love her stuff! Her work was featured in Selvedge magazine last year and I was immediately captured.

Bird (in Bklyn & online) and the online Selvedge shop both sell a selection of Mogendorff's wares. They're beautiful but spendy.

Here are links...hope they work:

I've also seen these at Asrai Gardens in Chicago - they are amazing, but as Slow Lorus said, pricey.
