- Giving a scarf, blanket or towel? Use it to wrap another gift and tie with a piece of hemp or twine.
We love this idea. Tea towels would work well on small gifts -- they're inexpensive, and endlessly useful to the recipient.

I've wrapped my presents in foil for years and it's fantastic. No more holding down the ends while you try and tape them! Plus, the natural shine of foil makes it one of the most attractive gifts under the tree. The only down size is that it's hard to wrap gifts that are larger then a book or a board game.
