Jim Rosenau's thematic book shelves make us smile. We want this one in the kitchen. We're not exactly sure what we'd put on it ... maybe a cookbook or two?

Rosenau began turning books into shelves in 2002, before that he was a carpenter and a comedy writer. There is quite a bit of humor in his art/furniture pieces, so we're not surprised.
He was also raised with what he calls a "near religious relationship with books." So all of the books he uses are ones that would otherwise be headed for the dumpster.
The shelves are created through a pretty interesting process. Find out more about it here.
