Furniture from Old Airplane Parts

We've posted about Desks from Old Airplane Wings before, but one company has taken that idea and expanded it to recycled airplane beds, credenzas, lighting, seating and tables, with impressive results...

 
 

Motoart's first airplane creation was a propeller sculpture. Eventually, that evolved into furniture— rescued engineering components of airplanes turned into functional works of art. While the process isn't explained in detail, it begins with lots of de-greasing, sanding and polishing.

Here are a few photos of what went into creating their Albatross Float Tank Couch.
