How To: Turn Vinyl Blinds into Plant Markers

vinyl-plant-markers-1.jpgC'mon, how much of your life has been wasted fighting with the pull cord on vinyl blinds? Here's a great way to upcycle them, so you can finally tear the ugly things down...

Now the ugliest window treatment out there gets a new life, as plant markers in a garden. Crafting A Green World show you how. It's really simple, just snip the thread binding them together, then cut each blind down to about six inches. Finally, label using a sharpie. And get yourself some gorgeous new draperies!

Great idea, really wish I could do this with my blinds but I'm pretty sure the apartment management would not be happy.

Wonderful idea!
Instead of discarding it can be utilized.
