Inspiration: Creative Reuse from Junk+ion

9-14-2009shoestand.jpgThe Israeli designers at Junk+ion aren't just working with salvaged materials, they're working with humor and a fresh perspective. (Wish we'd seen this shoe rack when we were on the hunt a year or so ago—we'd love to put it right outside our front door.)

From Junk+ion's "About Us" page: "Junk+ion people loving seeing objects in new ways ... Junk+ion people believe there is enough stuff in the world already, and try to take from what there is."

We think that's a pretty good philosophy for every designer to follow—whether they're working with recycled plastics, salvaged wood, or an old chest of drawers.

See more of Junk+ion's projects over at Treehugger and at their site.
