Lockengeloet has found many creative ways to repurpose old vinyl records into useful household objects: lamps, clocks, and more. Shown in the first image is a paper towel holder made from reshaped records...
Each Lockengeloet product is unique and new but made from old objects. Lockengeloet is based in Hamburg, Germany. You can see more repurposed products on Lockengeloet's website.
This post made me smile; when I was 6 I left my brother's favourite record out in the sun on top of a ball I had been playing with and at the end of the day the record had slowly sagged over the top of the ball making a perfect plate. Obviously my brother wasn't amused but my mom still uses it as an odds&ends plate to this day.
