Many revitalization efforts around the city have stirred a bit of controversy, especially in terms of eco-sensitivity. Many times, gorgeous and solidly built —albeit often neglected—old row houses are leveled to make room for a monstrosity of a condo-complex built with flimsy materials and a host of trendy, soon-to-be-dated design elements. Thankfully, many development and renovations efforts around H Street seem to be taking a different, more sensitive route, and this home is an inspiring example. When the house was converted into a living space, the owner, a custom home builder, was set on using as many reclaimed materials as possible.
And almost as cool as the renovated space itself is the fact that you could actually call it home— it's for sale! For more information about acquiring this awesome home, send inquiries to mediaexec@gmail.com
