Only cool fish need apply. This Floating Garden was designed by Frenchman Benjamin Graindorge, and it's not even on the market yet. Plastic and ceramic versions are scheduled for release in Spring 2010. So for now, we can just admire the complete eco-system that is going on here, a nice symbiotic relationship between plant and fish. More pictures below...

It would be nice if the fish also had a rock or a plant or something where they could hide if they wanted... plus it could mask the filter.

How boring for the fish. They would likely be under stress if they didn't have a place to hide sometimes. It's a nice idea, but the bottom half would look so much better if it was planted.

aquaponics is a great concept, and can be really well executed. this is a nice-looking setup, though i agree with the other posters that the fishies will benefit from having some rocks and other hidey-holes (presumably that's left out in the illustrations so we can see the mechanisms). and of course, there are ways of "hacking" your own setups without spending tons of money.
