Pansonic's Eco House of the Future

Yesterday we saw Panasonic's attempt at the first robotic dish washer. Today, we're going to check out Dvice's house tour of their Eco Ideas House over in Japan. You can check out their arsenal of green ideas over at Dvice, although we've also included some pictures to give you an idea of what you'll be lookin' at. We'll admit their designs are a little rough around the edges, with many UI's simply thrown on some LCD screens, but the core ideas are pretty interesting to say the least...

Our favorite idea happens to be their push for a complete switch from standard bulbs and CFLs to LED lighting. Seeing as LEDs consume less than a sixth of the energy of CFLs (and they're dimmable!), we certainly can't wait for the bulbs to go mainstream so we can start pocketing some cash from energy bill savings.
