Etsy Find: Rothko-Inspired Upcycled Cardboard Art

Here's something else you can do with those moving boxes: turn them into art! We got a tip about these Rothko-inspired pieces of art by Dee Adams painted on leftover cardboard boxes from her recent move, and we think they're pretty sweet...

Dee Adams is currently selling her work on Etsy for $20-$40, depending on the size. Here's what she says:

Each painting is an original work stylistically inspired by contemporary abstract artist Mark Rothko and painted by Dee Adams on recycled industrial grade cardboard. Even the acrylic paints used in these pieces were left over samples from larger painting projects in my studio. Each piece is unique.

So simple, yet really nice in a large grouping.

Thanks, Carrie!
