The Fall Green Cure: Week 6

5-19--cure.jpgWe are at the end of Week Six. We have two weeks to go... and we're assuming that we only a couple of replies back from this week's homework assignment because you, like us, are busy plugging away at the cure. It's either that, or you've been too busy answering the surveys we've been putting up this week. Either way, we're totally thrilled about the response, so thanks again!

We would be thrilled if you kindly take a few minutes right now to post two pictures: one of the greenest thing in your home and one picture of your most favorite thing in your home. You know the drill: post the photos to our group over at Flickr, tagged with "ATgreencure", or, in a pinch, emailed to us.

The last couple weeks of any long project can be tough. Take stock, then resolve to get as much done as humanly possible. Finish as many things as possible. Along the way, remind yourself that you, and your home, are worth all the work.

(For a recap of this week's assignment, check out the last post - Find all Worksheets here - and The Book Blog here)

Today's Wall Street Journal carries an entertaining article on how many Germans would rather buy used or dumpster-dive than buy new stuff.

(Lack of Open Threads on this site = really frustrating. This isn't the first time I've found a green-relevant article and had nowhere to share it.)
