Because it's bathroom month, we've been paying much closer attention to our shower these days. This question is ours:
Do you think a low-flow handshower (like the one pictured) is a greener way to go than your standard low-flow showerhead?
We're not sure ... but we're leaning toward yes. Here's why:
With a handshower you can do a more efficient rinse and, if you have a thick head of hair (like me), being able to bring the spray right up close to your scalp guarantees a quick, thorough rinse.
We don't have a handshower, but we're guessing that it could save us a couple minutes in the shower. Not a big difference, but even if it only saved us 30 seconds -- wouldn't that mean something in the long run?
What do you think?
This Kohler MasterShower relaxing Eco handshower ($98.55) looks like a nice option.
I think you would need to look at the output of each water wise just because they are both low flow doesn't mean they are letting the same amount of water out.
