BEFORE

TOOLS:

Scrabble Board Game
E-6000 Industrial Strength Glue

STEPS:

If you come across a Scrabble Board Game at a yard sale or a thrift store, here is how you can add some powerful or inspirational words to your living or office space. Each game comes with a game board, four letter tile holders and 100 letters.

Pick a place of your home that needs an inspirational touch. In my case, it was a picture of me and my daughter on the lake. It was sitting on the mantel above the fireplace and every time I glanced at it, I would think back to that moment and how I would cherish it forever.

Select a word/phrase in 9 letters or less that would best fit that corner of your home or office. Find the Scrabble letter tiles to spell out that word or phrase. Position the tiles on the tile holder and adjust them so that the word/phrase looks centered. Apply glue to the back of the first letter tile and position it in place. Continue with the rest of the tiles.

Allow to dry overnight.

Add it to the spot you chose and enjoy! Each game will allow you to create 4 signs. You can make fridge magnets to spell more words with the reminder of the tiles. You can also glue the tiles directly to the picture frames, journals, etc.

This is cool! I actually just found a scrabble set in the hallway of my building.
I would make this on my desk if there were anymore room.

Another cool idea would be to paste magnets on the back side of the tiles and make original looking alphabet set for the fridge.
