Flickr Find: Reusing Wii Packaging

11_10_09_wiiremote.jpgIs the Nintendo Wii on your holiday shopping (or wish) list? If so, take a look at what Flickr member Balakov did with the packaging. Perfect for the gaming aficionado—or maybe as a good-natured gift for your office party—these chocolate Wii remotes would definitely push some funny buttons.

We never thought of reusing the plastic packaging in this way, but it definitely makes sense. And we'd imagine that chocolate isn't the only thing this mold would be good for; the Wii remote looks like it would make a fun bar of soap, too!

What a silly thing to say. That plastic is exactly the same kind as the plastic that ordinary chocolate moulds are made from. I wouldn't want to use melted chocolate that was so hot it would melt, but that's just common sense, nothing to do with the fact that it wasn't originally intended for food.
