Graze Organic Reusable Snack Bags

2009-08-17-graze.jpg

We've blogged about reusable snack bags and sandwich bags before. While we thought they were a great idea, our first time using a similar fabric snack bag came this past week with the Graze Organic bags...

We had a chance to try out a set of their sandwich and snack bags. All Graze Organic products are made in the USA from 100% certified organic cotton. The design is hand silk-screened with water-based inks. The bags don't have a plastic lining, so it's best to stay away from juicy fruits. We liked that they held up nicely in the washing machine and that the velcro was nice and tight (although we had to help our toddler open the bags). They work great for dry snacks, sandwiches and vegetables such as carrots. Although we'll have to supplement with our other containers for things like berries, we like using these snack bags. They also make a great gift. You can see the entire Graze Organic line here.

(Thanks Heather and Leslie!)

I hate the amount of plastic I use and would love to switch to something like this, but do they keep the food fresh? I just envision hard bread and withered cold cuts by the time I get my lunch hour.
