The Envi by Julien Bergignant is a complicated little trashcan (which uses something called bio-reactive substances" to speed-up the composting process).
We're a little fuzzy on how the whole thing works. But we can say that we like the concept. We'd feel better tossing our banana peel in a city trashcan if we knew it was going to help grow something that would make the sidewalk a bit more beautiful.
